The consensus I've seen seems to say Korea, but I've seen a few say Japan.

Which is it?

CIJ, I've never seen Aerodyne made in Korea. I can be wrong though.

:D aerodyne basses are definitly crafted in japan with two models. One is for export and one is for sale in japan only. The export models are great.

Are there any difference in the two?

:D The export models are made to tighter specs I think. My j-bass dosn't have a pickguard while the p-bass dose have a pickguard and a gorgeous maple top. Both have the p/j pick-ups which give me a lot of tone choices. The j-bass out of the box has the best sustain of any of my basses MIA included.
