I was just wondering as the Precision was part of the original line up of Paisley guitars and re-issues.

Is there any chance there will be a black one to follow the black Telecasters and Stratocasters?

I'm sure if they think they can sell a run of 150 or 250 they would do one. The thing about the P-Bass traditionally is that it usually was the basic and went unchanged. I was sort of surprised when Fender originally did the Antigua ones. They just never changed the P-Bass much during the Leo or CBS eras at all except for color offerings which usually got trimmed down instead of expanded. For example, while the 70's Reissue P-Bass of today has pearloid block inlays on the rosewood fretboard, I'll be danged if I can remember one like that in the 70's. So today Fender is more likely to go places with the P-Bass that nobody has gone before. So it wouldn't surprise me. The key is selling instruments. If they think enough people would buy them, they'd probably do a pink P-Bass with little blue bunnies on it.

Seismic,

Lado knocked that one out for a Steve Harris model back in the '80s

I didn't mean that. I was referring to your "softer, gentler" side. :D
