Hello all. Newbie to the forum. I have a Dec/63 Precision which I'd like some comments on. I've had it since 1970 and it was not stock when I got it, so I know it's devalued as far as collectors go. No matter - I'll keep it til I die. I'll post some pics so you can all comment on it.

Thx, BB

Post away and welcome to the board, BB!

We all love seeing the old Precision Basses that are still rockin' after 50 years!

I'll bet it is a great bass.

Welcome to the forum counselor. Posting photos on the Fender Forum is somewhat different than some other forums as Fender doesn't let you upload photos to Fender.com so they do not host the photos.

To post photos you first have to upload them to a third party hosting site such as photobucket.com which has free hosting. There are other services but that is just the one that I use. Once the photos are uploaded to the third party site then start a post and wherever you wish the photo to appear in the post just click the Img button on the tool bar above the post composition window and paste the DIRECT LINK to the photo on the third party site within the IMG tag. Then click PREVIEW button instead of post to make sure photos are displaying properly. If so, then click SUBMIT. You can put as many direct links to photos as you like in a single post.

It is also a good idea to resize very large photos to no more than about 700 pixels wide so that they will fit within the forum frame.

For example:

Brian Wilson's P-Bass

Carol Kaye's P-Bass

Is this a Boner P-Bass? Perhaps!

When you click the IMG button on the tool bar above the post composition window the cursor should automatically go to where you need to paste the link.
