I was very pleased seeing an Antigua guitar or bass in the form of a Factory Special Run. Love very much that cool lookin' P-Bass.

However, I'm very sick about the lack of an unlined fretless maple neck option. My other gripe is that the Antigua basses didn't come with ashtray pickup covers.

I think it's an early-to-mid 1970s model if my memory serves. Fender Japan did some Antigua fretless maple-neck Precisions a couple of decades ago.

I'm very tired about the lack of a fretless maple-neck P in the MIM FSR Antigua series.

Yeah I agree, there should be a maple fretless option, & yes it's definately mid 70's .
& with regard to these FSR Antigua models from looking at the seriel number it looks like they're made in Mexico... :)

That's a cool looking bass but its not a 70's Fender Precision.
There are no holes for the bridge and pickup covers.
