Looking at an Antigua P Bass. A freind of mine calls it applicance burst & would fit in any 70's kitchen with avacado appliances. I think most people either love the color or hate the color. I was wondering what the Fender P bass fans think of the color?

Appliance Burst? That's hilarious!

Opinion - it does look like my mom's washer/dryer combo from the Seventies. I am not a fan, but then if you like it and it plays well, then you should ger it. The color is different enough to attract attention all on its own.

If it sounds & plays up to your expectations, the appearance can grow on you.

From my recollection, it is a unique finish.

Antigua with the original pickguard complete and intact adds a bit of value as they are rare. It was a custom color with a unique appeal, meaning not many people ordered it which makes it scarcer today. Pickguards alone would be worth $400.
