Is anyone wanting/willing/desperate to sell a 'good' original Precision, 1957-1966 inclusive, please?

Ideally, but by no means exclusively, at the older end; blonde with the 'skunk stripe' and soft-V neck profile.

Thank you.

I have a 1966 Olympic White, tortoise guard Precision. Near Mint condition. Has all tags, original case, polish cloth & strap. It even has the original sales slip (Was purchased at a TV repair shop in December 1966) Neck date Aug 66. Completely original. It plays incredible but the "C" neck is big & I prefer a "B" neck but this one will not disappoint anyone! I am not trying to actively sell it but everyone has their price. BIG $$ or a trade with a 1966-1969 Dakota Red Bass in decent condition could possible pry from my grasp! Yes, I know, no photos no bass but I am with a new ISP & have to find where to host the photo.

PS: I know this site is not for selling but he asked & I figured I let him & others know what I have. Like I said I am not actively trying to sell this time capsule.

Hi guys and apologies for not getting to read this until now: family illness has meant I've been pre-occupied and away from home until now.

Gee....No, no lottery win (sadly!).

It's an illness this love for Precisions thing; there really should be a 12 Step Prog' for it.... :)

Thanks for the link to gbase, Brotherdave.

I never realised that there were so many available in the US; I guess it's a question of knowing where to look.

Some of the prices are astonishing and the trouble is, once you've seen the totally mint '64 for $18,500, it's really hard to forget and it kind of takes the edge off the others, no matter how lovely they may be in their own right...!!

The one I really fancy is Billy Harlan's old '58 at Gruhns in Nashville: he used it to record and play live with the Everly Brothers and Gentleman Jim, two (or three!) of my most loved artists. Sadly- as you might imagine- big bucks though........

I've been trying to PM BPGoalie for a week or so now and for some bizarre reason, all my messages get locked in my OUTBOX and never seem to send.

BPG: If you read this, could you PM me, please?

Many thanks.
