Surely bummin', found 2ea Roland brand 9v's in my recently purchased '05 NOS MIA P-Dlx. I was testing an '05 RBIV while the salesman changed the bttrys as they were dead. Bought last month, went to change them today, and I was livid. A light blue "scum line" and chunks in the bttry well. Not very pro to let it go just stuffin' in new ones & butt-nin' it back up.

Close visual well inspection revealed no wiring / terminal / back of visible pot problems. I horse-hair brushed loose & vac'd out the void. I'd rather not pull the front jewelry and dig deeper, may do more harm than good.

Any thoughts? Should I lodge a complaint to FMIC, to justify any failures later on?

How can I attch a pic to this forum?

1. I don't know. Did you take this up with whomever you bought it from? That probably would be my first step. You could/should contact Fender to see what they have to say.

2.From the Fender Forums FAQs
Can I post Images?
