What is your Ripper worth where you live?
Providing you actually want to part with it.

Thanks to Green Day and Nirvana, it's worth more than it was in its day.

What style of music do you play?

This year along with last few are a little over-priced,I would go with a used one 10 yrs old or so,the price is right and the woods is already in its stages of curing/drying and the chances of it developing neck issue's are very low, plus its got its own mojo going already now that its been curing for awhile.
I bought a 2003 P-bass (USA) for 475.00$ totally mint and never been happier with a stock Fender, any other Fender I have owned(over 30)I have had to do some type of work(fret-leveling,pick-ups,pots ETC...)its no big deal I do my own work, but for most of us here have to pay for work,I am a little more picky when it comes to my basses(action, string tension, intonation, tone)so a bass that needs nothing is my kinda bass.
GOODLUCK

That was sound advice! Now for the original poster:

Estoy de acuerdo con que el 100%
