You guys are going to think I'm insane, but I would like to have a P or a Jazz in shell pink (not pastel)w/white pickguard and maple fingerboard as an homage to Jimi. I know he wasn't a bass player, but he changed my life!

Tri-color Sunburst, Tortoiseshell, Maple

I just bought this an hour ago, but with the rosewood fretboard (they didn't have maple). I read this thread before I went to get it, and I was going to get the Butterscotch Blonde/Black Pickguard because it was on clearance for $799. When I looked at that Tri-color, I couldn't justify getting the other one. This bass is BEAUTIFUL!!! I am very pleased with my purchase!

black on black with maple, tortoiseshell on olympic white with rosewood, aged white on lake placid blue with rosewood, same on candy apple red, white pearl on shoreline gold with rosewood, tortoiseshell on white blonde with rosewood, mint green on transparent blueburst (80's deluxe Strat!!) with rosewood, the classic 57 p.bass combo, WAY too many to choose !!!!
