I've been looking into this bass through videos and reviews and I'm kinda impressed by it. The dealer is pretty terrible so I'm best off ordering it online, and I was wondering if those who have used it or own it can give me some ideas of how this thing plays, feels and whatnot. I'm interested in a bass on a budget so if you guys can give me some thoughts on it, it would be appreciated. :wink:

Knowing me I'd probably switch the pickups for 62RIs, but its good to know that only the tuners need replacement. I can work with that. Cheers man, much appreciated.

Also, I don't think admin will move your thread. Just start a new one in the Squier bass forum.

[quote="chef wong"]Nice basses..for the most part.

The fretwork is good at any price range. Great job with that. The frets are made of a cheaper metal that wears down pretty fast, though.

I must say,thats the first time I have ever heard that mentioned in a review of that bass,Or in any bass review for that matter. :shock:
What kind of strings you using :?: Rotosound SandpaperWounds :!:
LOL !!! Just Razzing YA,but thats still a hell'uva review.
:mrgreen:

Is this true, where did you get the info from. Not doubting since I've seen plastic instead of metal on the string retainer on the Squiers.

Frets won't be much of a problem for me really, I'm a consistent flat wound user.
