Good evening,

I own two Precision Plus from the early 1990s. One in black with rosewood, and a natural with maple neck.

Does anyone know if there is a color chart stating all available finishes for these basses?

...if you have one yourself: What year and color is it?

Best regards,
TheBoner

...why would you want to change the PUs? The LaceSensors are the perfect fit. Maybe an active circuit would add some more options, but for me these basses always worked perfectly without changing any of the orginal parts.

I don't have any color charts for the 90's at all, only pre-FMIC era. However this page has EVERY Fender USA color and a good resource. Click on the images to enlarge.

Thanks a lot for this hint! I will go through this page in detail. Still it would be very nice to have a dedicated colour chart for this special kind of basses...

Let us see! Maybe there are some other Fender devotees to contribute some new information?

Cheers & Best regards,
The Boner

The maple-neck Blueburst Boners are by far the most coveted.

I never saw a Boner in Seafoam Green. Looks like Bahama Blue in my eyes. :?

I never saw this colour before for a PreciPlus! Yes, I also think this is BahamaBlue.

I do have an offer for buying a blue burst. It is a very dark burst from almost black into blue. But for now they are asking just too much for the bass. I will wait a bit, but maybe they know that this is a wanted color.

Until now I thought that the black ones are quite rare?

Cheers,
TheBoner

No such Fender color as Bahama Blue is there? Says right on the ad it is Seafoam Green.

Just one more thing. There is not a color chart just for Plus basses. That would actually be the early 90's Fender color chart for the USA line. Try finding an old FENDER FRONTLINE magazine. They are on eBay auctions sometimes. If anyone has one they can go to the color chart page, scan it, email it to me and I'll post it here and on my website. Prior to the Internet Frontline was Fender's mouthpiece.
