I use 2x10, but it's a mini full stack w/1x15 which gives it a thump...I don't gig out anymore. The last gig I did 2 years a go I used this rig, it was loud enough, pushing it with the 500 watt head. The guitar player used a Peavey 5150 full stack. You can hear the bass...but your question is about 2x10 not in combination with other cabs, so my participation is a moot point

A couple of re-railing comments.

The evolution of my rig.
Gibson Atlas 1x15 combo. About 40 watts with a tail wind into a single 15. Sounded good to me. But not loud enough.

Fender Bassman head with 2x15 cab. Better tone and a bit louder but heavier and much bigger. Filled up the back seat of my 62 Ford Galaxie.

Ampeg SVT came out. Worked at dealer that carried Ampeg. Had to get one. I liked 15's so got a PAIR of 2x15 8 ohm cabs and a 1957 Chevy panel truck to haul it in. OMG. I miss that truck.

Marshall Superbass with Marshall 2x15 cab. Remarkably punchy bass amp.

Ampeg SVTII with same Ampeg 2x15 cabs I used with the old SVT.

Ampeg B15N. Sold everything else. Just jammed and looked for band to mess with.

Ampeg B2RE. Light and powerful. Got a 1x15 and a 2x10 Avatar cab. Stack them. They are at the rehearsal space. I don't move it much. Was patching out to the PA. Sound guy kept saying turn it down. I gigged at an upstairs club once with just the 1x15 and really missed the 2x10's.

Line 6 Studio 110. I put it on a tilting stand in front of me like a monitor and direct out to the PA. I can hear it, sound guy can mix it. I go from my instruments to a Whirlwind A/B/Y switch to a MarkBass Compressore, to a Tech 21 NYC Bass Driver Deluxe to the amp set CLEAN and flat to the PA. I can hear it, sound guy can mix it. It sounds fine. We have big 18 inch subs and solid mains. Our band is loud. Sax guy is too dang loud for me.

So I'm gigging with a 1x10 now. And with 75 watts. The older I get, the less I wanna move big gear.

We have some fall outdoor gigs coming up and I might drag out the stack for that, but I bet sound guy says "TURN IT DOWN."

I got my second Genz-Benz 10T cab this week. Today I'll plug 'em both into the Mesa/Boogie Walkabout head. I'll take a pic and post it later. It's small and light: each box is 16 lb and the head is 13. That adds up to 11 lb more than the Genz-Benz Shuttle 3.0-2x10T rig, puts out the same power, but I can make three trips instead of two. AND, of course, the Mesa/Boogie has the Killer Tone. I was telling a bass player friend that bass amp technology has finally caught up with my back! Now I'm sorry I didn't get the M/B head only, and kept my Hartke 2x10 and 1x15 Transporter cabs. Oh well. It's only money (my little M/B and G-B stack represents a little over $2K).

Here it is: Mesa/Boogie tonal goodness and Genz-Benz form factor. Shown with my Godin A5 fretless, I also spent quite a bit of time playing the AV '57 through it. Tell you what, this is THE RIG. Forty-five lb, 300 watts, and it sounds like...well, like a Precision does when it's played through a Mesa/Boogie Walkabout.
