So they took the Hwy 1 P off the menu and added the CIJ 70s P...I can dig that! I do agree with brotherdave about the electronics, my '89 had issues with 'pumping' out volume with the J pup. This of course was prior to the EMGs, no it's loud as it should be. Craftsmanship, hmmm, yeah, it's that good.

that we are a bunch of clowns doesn't mean we're ignorants, when one got questions, troubles or other inconvenient we're glad to help... but not everything has to be seriously serious; it's rock'n'roll and it's fun too. now go cry to mommy or brad...

Hi Peaty!

Nice to see you, been to any bull fights lately? Gee, you're awful serious, you just don't understand the lighter side of life. I guess when you live under a rock, there's only one way to look at things.

Just for your information, the greatest majority of us look to brotherdave as one of the greatest sources of knowledge on the bass guitar, we all have helped when noobies or others have questions. Do we have fun , yes.

Whenever a dink comes on and tries to be cute, then it's open season!

Trust me, you're gonna get tired of us before we get tired of you.

By the way, try some spaghetti, it will be very soothing.

Whats even worse is the fact that many of the so called "CLOWNS" are probably among some of the best bassplayers on this forum(I did'nt say are the best)not to mention are the ones usually turned too when a specialists question is asked,we are the ones who can pick out a fake Fender from nothing more than a headstock pic(poor ones at that)we are the ones who answer all the hardware interchangability( :?: WTF) questions,we are the ones sharing tips and tricks only learned through years of expierence not to mention always willing to go out of the way to help another member who's having a coronary over a new basses grain pattern( ) so in a nutshell its hard to hate and argue with the results, would'nt you agree ? I think the help thats given by far superseeds a couple of pictures or inside jokes.
IF you question their overall positive influence on this site and feel like they'er more hinderence than help try going back a few weeks when we were hanging out on another site and look at the number of new threads, number of replies, number of views and number of visits, this place was a morgue at this time with hardly no participation going on on any topic new or old,So yes many of them/us do matter more than you think.
with that I say:KEEP PRACTICING,MAYBE SOMEDAY YOU TOO CAN BE ASKED TO JOIN THIS LITTLE THING OF OURS(  )But now that I think of it,Probably NOT!
Stay thirsty my clowns !

Oxfan said it perfectly"YOU WILL BE SICK OF US LONG BEFORE WE ARE SICK OF YOU !
Thats the truest statement I have heard yet on this forum,I'm sure many would agree

Very nice LSB, that was well written, eloquent and very informative. You're showing your softer, gentler side.

CUT IT OUT!

We all have our reputations here, the one thing we all hate is when noobies get ragged on. How many times have we come to their aid? I can't count them. we will always be there to help.

JUST LIKE WE GOT HELP!

The point of all this is:

Whatever you want to put out you're gonna get back in spades, when it comes to the NICP International.

Man- you guys are just rippin that guy a new one. May not be a need for this but I'll go ahead and release the switch and let the chips fall where they may. Once I do this though,,, there is no turning back. The green train will have to be posted when the dust clears. Maybe Ox or Sabre can take care of that. I'll be out of commision for a few minutes once the reaction starts. No I'm not talking about the dioscilator. It's at the bottom of a lake in der Sveeden. What I'm talking about is this, ( get ready, secure all objects, )

There will be a permanent derailment as long as NDB doesn't come back. Maybe posts on the Forum take a long time to get here from Spain.

I like that old song,

"Well I've Never Been To Spain, But I kind Of Like Spaghetti."

Whew !! Thanks men. The train pics have appeard. I think the glow is off. The dust has settled. By my readings were are in the clear. We'll only maybe have some slight fallout. I'm pretty sure the thread will pass on soon.

I'm heading back to my daily duties.

In closing I have posted a picture non related to any subjects for one final bit of medicine if needed.

WOW!! As one of the newest members of CLOWN-TOWN I must say I am impressed at the sheer magnitude of the work done on this post.
The complete lack of your own time spent de-railing is of Biblical Proportions and the need to do this no matter who gets stepped on in the process puts a single tear in my(rolls softly down my cheek  )I posted with a different angle because I believe this apprentice was "star-struck" and to sit back and watch some of the OG's handle bizz was awe inspiring and had left me wordless.
So now I believe others following in the lichens footsteps may think twice about breaking protocal and not being nice will learn to play well with others,if not then THEY know what comes next.
BRAVO FELLA'S!! BRAVO
