My recently acquired 2011, 60th ann. Prec. bass is officially the best bass i have ever owned followed closely by assorted jazzes other P. basses, Ric etc.In terms of feel,tone ,construction, features, neck,quality,action,vibe,it will not be a case queen,as i,ve done three gigs with it ,two outdoors!!!! i,ll post pics before too long!!!!!!!!!!

Hi Jaguar, congrats on the new bass. Have you noticed any irregularity at all? Someone posted in this forus that they had noticed peculiar string spacing on one. So I was wondering about that. Thanks!

It,s made in the USA with perfect string spacing and with a thin skin lacker finish.Available in 2011 only.The case is the rect. skb case a bit bulky but hard and sturdy.

@brotherdave, i wrote that, -meanwhile i handled the spacing by slanting the brigde-piece a little; that works well, no more problems...

@jaguar, show some pics... :wink:

Okay what is a rect. case? And that guy who didn't post pics is talking about one of those P basses that has the 51 style p guard that just came out. I knew that because Lizzo HZeezo Blizzo posted about what he said was string spacing and I remembered that he posted pics of his guitar but the op here didn't. Glad I got that straightened around. I guess I don't really need to see pics-- thay all look the same don't they?

Ox also has his share of one of type basses,lets hope he gets vain enuff to flaunt them around and rube noses in them,they're not meant for all eye's to behold,They'er protected by;Something kinda like what Medussa's face can do to the foolhardy enuff person looking too long at it.
Its said If its looked at from straight on only then will you see its true "one of" design BUT stone you will not become,you will also be stricken musically unable to once again play anything melodic or your ability to keep time(sounds like many of our fellow members here in the forum)so if they get posted Please dont look,its for your own good believe me(I've seen it happen and its a terrible sight to beheld).
Stay thirsty my friends(or Dont,and always be hydrated my friend) :?:
