I'm considering getting a set of these and slapping them on my Squier P when I replace the busted pickup. Anyone have any experience with them?

Very warm sound. Pleasing to both ears and fingers. Uprightish tone. But the frets wear the Nylon wrap somewhat prematurely. They last much longer on a fretless bass but if you are willing to do string changes fairly frequently they sound really unique on a fretted bass.

My buddy used them on a 60 something Mustang bass,I tried them a few times never had a problem with premature wear nor heard of any but they are definatly ones that grow on you, they tend to feel rubbery and loose compaired to the usual NON nylon strings.
They are not easily picked up and sound tend to sound muffled, try the other type of nylon strings, they are a roundwound made by Rotosound and are called Nylon round-wound,they are'nt smooth feeling like the tapes are but have the same "effect" they feel like a roundwound with nylon string wrapped around it.
They are'nt as as rubbery as the tape wounds which are also thicker(tape wounds) and dont always fit into the nut slot and can break it if not carefully installed(tape wound strings)the nylon wrapped r/wound are my recommendation.
