LOWHZBLOW-- For a long time( since I was a kid) I've seen pictures of Switzerland in movies etc. It looks like a beautifull place. Mountains, the Olympics etc-- it has a special kind of thing to it. I don't know a whole lot about it. I'm friends with Iceland on FB. Maybe I should hook up with Switzerland. Do you like it over there? Have you ever been to the USA?

what makes switzerland so unique is our politic system: direct democracy (since 1291), say, it's the people deciding the "does and don'ts" and the politicians got to obey or they're off...
apart this it's the four official languages and the diversity and beauty of landscape; there's not only mountains in switzerland.
and maybe best is: we are not in the eu (european union) which is imo the biggest criminal association worldwide (beside the bush administration and the russian and chinese governments)
yes, switzerland is a very particular place to be and i love it, over all!
and no, to my deepest regret i've never been in the usa, but i'm one off your biggest fan, the home of fender, gibson and prs can't be that bad...

LOWHZBLOW- maybe you don't want to come over here anyway. There's all kinds of dumb stuff. You may have to drop your IQ down about 50 points to really enjoy it. We have Wal Mart. It's full of fat hillbilly women in clothes that are way too tight with screaming little kids laying in the isles.. And most of everyone here has all these tatoos all up around thier face. Did I mention the pin heads? Drivers--- oh boy do we have drivers over here! Not quite as bad as India but close. TV- OMG we have 500 stinkin channels that maybe a 4 year old would like. None hardly worth the time of day. You could get lucky and get killed. You'd be an easy mark because you are a tourist in a rental car. We have a good crime thing going on. It's everywhere! How about that? No shortage!!! You could even get some Meth and turn into a worthless skin and bones Zombie criminal. You'd probubly have to go out in the Rural areas to get it. No more farming just Meth makers. Our politicians are all flashers of some sort. Flashing private parts etc. They are so honest and never lie. NO that's wrong- there ain't a politician around who can't look you in the eye and lie his $@! off!
Everything is 1/2 of what it used to be and 2 times as expensive. That goes up every week it seems. The dollar is about worthless , Maybe you can get one candy bar for a dollar. I can go on and on.....................................

Then you may go somewhere over here that is absolutley beutifull and awe inspiring. You may meet people who are just good careing people. You may live somewhere that is the kind of place you are just comfortable with and noone bothers you. You can earn a good wage and buy all the guitars you want and only have to drive a few miles to do it. Any kind of material object or thing is available. You can speak out. You can go to any Church or any Cult you want. Women can mow their yard with out a shirt on if they want. It's legal right here where I live. Not many do that though. You can get in a band and do that for a living. There are alot of good things about the USA. People WILL stand together when the time comes. We were ready to kick some $@! on 9-11. I think the majority of people are good over here. It seems you hear way more about the bad stuff than the good things. I also think people in other countries are miss informed about us alot of the time. You just can't believe everything you hear in the news and other places. I could go on and on but I won't. I have to get ready for a gig. In the end I think no matter where you are-- it's what YOU make it.

hey sv,
certainly not, i'd love to use my brain and it tells me that your describing must hit the truth right in the middle; dumb-jocks are living allover the world same as cool and good-brained people.
up to every single one to meet the folks he deserves: dummies do follow dummies, the rest will spot nice folks and places to go for.
it's plenty of us-manners that let me doubt common sense (as you aptly described) but be sure, where ever i go i'll do good while using the full power of my brain.
thank you very much for your writing and bringing your us-inside a bit closer to me...

If you do a google images search for fender dominator bass, the second result is a picture of low-Hz-blow.
Well done guys, you're even derailing google.

Are you nuts?

This is a joke, the Dominator Bass doesn't exist!

The only bass which is close to your crazy imagination is the Black Top Precision.

Well gents, the ladies have been involved in a secret project with Fender, and soon ... very soon, world domination will ensue. BEWARE! the Dominator is a hoax. But the Dominatrix is not!

I prefer a nice medium rare steak from Ruth's Chris steak joint. Flayed minion, with 'shrooms! Yummy!

What is the Swiss import duty on musical instruments? Would it be cheaper to buy a used one from an individual than a new one from a shop?

That Dominator Bass is a good looking bass. I should have looked at that Dominator Bass before I bought the Fender American Special Precision. But the salesman at the store did not mention it. It must sound pretty good too.
