It'll probably worth more to a lefty...to me it's not worth it since I'm not a lefty. So, maybe it depends on who you ask.

In the areas where I spend most of my time (Alabama, Florida and Wisconsin), the retail price for a NEW left P-Bass usually about $50.00 more than the right version. However, since only 13 percent of the earth's population is left handed and far less than that are bassists, there is a limited market and pricing may have to be reduced to move the inventory. I have seen them going for roughly $100.00 less than the right handed P-basses recently. Look at the advertising for local guitar shops and the Guitar Center closest to you for comparisons. This may be a regional situation, so if anyone from other areas has seen a different trend, please let us know...

And then there's many left handed who play right handed. I can vouch for this first handed.
