hey aceysboy, if you see those NICP-signatures, run boy, run... avoid and go to the jazz bassers (unless we did not infiltrated them too already)
this is a last fair warning and be lucky that pennywise is not around!

No, but he takes abuse like one and doesn't go ballistic.....
(The NICP has noticed this and approves.)

As far as MIM basses go....

I have a few nice basses, and my 2000 MIM P-Bass is easily good enough to gig with. (Once it for a proper setup.)

Thanks man I do like my squire though her names Gloria lol

If you get one, it should have a template in the package, you use the Jazz template to put below the G string, and if you want to put it above the E string, use one of the existing holes from the pickguard. When you drill, put a piece of tape where the holes will go, put your thumbrest there take the drill, by itself, and put it through to make a mark on the tape.

Mark the places with a pen or Sharpie and determine how deep you have to go, do everything slowly. Be patient and take your time.

Good luck,

but fender also named his strat-whammy "tremolo" (should be called "vibrato"):

Some Fender amps also have a "Vibrato" control ont hem, that is actually trmolo--so that evens it out... :D

But Fender got it right on the Mustang
The plate below the tailpiece reads, "Dynamic Fender Vibrato"

Yes, vibrato.

You will have to drill one hole to make it permanent, you can use only one of the pickguard holes to attach a thumb rest, just in case you you decide you don't want it there later.
