I am a H-U-G-E fan of green,I can never find a bass in a nice dark green but only in custom made or a lighter seafoam green color,BUT I do know that Fender makes a 5 string p-bass in the Squier "standard series" that has the body of a p-bass but with two sets of side by side jazzbass pick-ups(mini humbucker like)and with a thick p-bass sized neck.
The green colored finish is deep and rich and on the darker side but is transparent enuff the see the grain,I do believe its the better made "pro-tone" series made in Korea,it has gold hardware and is well made,I dont play 5's so its out of the question.
There are tons of guitar makers who will re-finish a body for you real cheap,They will strip it down and dis-assemble the electronics then do all the stripping of the old finish and fix any imperfections in the wood or return the body back to stock if it was mauled by a do-it-yourselfer,paint it and then clear-coat it, let it dry then re-assemble(can add upgrades or new parts).
Or they sell all types of bodies so you can pick the style and pickup configuration of your choice, just paint is 200.00$ or new bod and custom paint for 350.00$ or so,I have done set-up work on a few of them and they are the real deal,if you did'nt know it was a refin you would be hard pressed to be able to tell that it is/was.

Lawsuit's post makes lots of sense. Can't find one? Make one out of another color.

I'd look for one from a year when they were making the Sage Green that played and sounded great. I'd disassemble it myself. Ship the body to one of the people I'd trust to do the refinish. One of them is here in North Carolina, but he has this "THING" about NOT refinishing any instrument with an original factory finish. So I'd have to give it a coat of Krylon before shipping it to him. After I get the refinished body back, let it set a few days and reassemble it. Viola!

There was a lovely Sherwood Green on certain Squiers in the 90's - not sure what relation it bore to the old Mercury colour Fender used in the 60's, but it was a very nice colour indeed. I'd love a P-Bass in that shade, with a rosewood fingerboard. One day, perhaps, I'll stumble on a decent P-Bass going cheap because of a beat-up body, and see if I can't get it refin in Sherwood Green...

Sage Green and Blue Agave were added in 2003 when the MIM Standard P-Bass was updated with genuine USA chrome flat-top knobs.
