yeah i grew up in the grand rapids/muskegon area of western michigan, and we din't have those there, however when we went north to Menominee in the U.P. we'd see porcupines, bears, cyotes, and other sorts of woodland critters come right up on my aunts porch, the bears were the funnest because they climbed on the cars HAHA

will you stop by my house and take in the paper???

don't worry we don't have sewer, we use a ceptic tank, so you won't float anywhere.

however, ravenna my home town is kinda tiny, so the locals might send you down crockery creek, as they aren't a big fan of outsiders...

OFFICIAL NICP BUSINESS

with all of our derailments in threads i've decided that we should have one derail picture, we should pick one of these, as this is a derail that happened right by my house a couple years back, pretty nuts but all's well..

I like the green derailed loco. Speaking of loco-- we've been running off the rails on the crazy train for some time now anyway. I like the idea of picking a standard derailment picture. I know you can't derail an already derailed derailment but the pic would mess with peoples minds --- in a good way. And we here at NICP know that minds are never messed with.

I got one of those Kindle-like things called a Literati. It's big and comes with a light and all sorts of good things, loads by wi-fi.

i would love to have one but i spend so much money on computers (beside all the music-gear, -my personal finance-minister is against, you know... :? )... and books are still my favorite, the sizzling of the turning pages, the touch and smell of printed paper and the weight of a thick book, how could the ipad replace that?
