I am humbled and castorized for the consideratory merits bestowed upon me at such a transient moment. It is an honor and I am humiliated. Thank you, thank you . I can only say I will do my best to soldier on and slide down the slippery $@!&# into the depths of depression that comes with these awards and testicals. Thankyou once again. If you need me I'll be hanging from the tree out back. :? Wow I didn't know $@!&# was a bad word. Maybe I should say downslope.

Thank you. That would be another honor. It seems you fit right in with the organization. Thanks for the help.

Have you met Mr Jolly, by the way?

Having had a long day and not seeing anyone here, I'd just like to thank Robert for the honor bestowed on me.

Glad to see you've all had a fun night tonight. I'll answer all tomorrow morning as I have the day off. There are a few points I'll address and comment on.

Seriously, I think NICP is the best thing that's happened in a long time.

I got my first steel string acoustic in 1964 also! I was brought into a new world via the Beatles in 64. Thier music just did something to me (and a million others too!) It was the best times as far as modern music goes. Every couple days you would hear new great songs "Oh Pretty Women' ,"Glad All Over", "Liar Liar", " My Generation"-- so many great bands from about 63 up untill disco came in around 73-4. There were alot of great bands after disco but that first ten years from the Beatles on was the real deal. Motown and all of it. It just exploded.

Amazing! I started on upright bass in 1964. What is it about 1964? Got my first electric in 1966. For me, the Stones were the real beginning, especially Bill Wyman's playing on "Goin' Home". I soon discovered the Paul Butterfield Blues Band, John Hammond Jr., and then John Mayall, with Clapton and Peter Green - and then Pink Floyd - and the rest is history! But those pre-disco years were astonishing - ten years or so of such ground-breaking stuff. We haven't seen their like since...
