Bassopotomous : def. sp. ( largeolectos-bot omini et) a rare species known only to reside near water for the soul purpose of tranfernation of 10 Hz tone used for mating purposes. Commonly purveys the tone in a fixed position near wood that contains thin metal strips ( fendorus precisonous atal ). Jimbo, we're the dudes that were busting the nuts of the guy busting your nuts. We're the ones BroDave was talking about when he referred to the clowns and such. Your posts about Squier basses are welcome here. The dudes here are (with the exception of a few) very welcoming of all questions regarding basses of Fender descent, be they Squier, Jazz, Precision, Bronco etc.

awright my lunatic fellows,
so many changes, so many new adepts, so many thoughts...

first of all, welcome to the recently affiliated, hope you all know what you went into.

second, since i'd like to keep things as simple as possible i waive on the new logo, too business-like to me (and that's the last i would let the NICP go into) and also kinda too aggressive.

third, having a mastermind isn't the worst thing to me, but must it be called "president" ?
companies, states and rabbit-breeder-clubs do have presidents... but the NICP?
petty bourgeois do opt for; i'm defiant, i'm a clown and i'm a renegade!!!
@ox, my dear friend, i appreciate your leadership and your role as our high priest but "president" is for babbits, so please abandon this title and let's find a more convenient for the NICP.
maybe it's 'cause i'm european (and miss the u.s way of life), may it be i'm a true rock'n'roll-adept, certain manners and rules quickly go too far to me.
so please don't take me unkind but i can't negate my attitude and also my deepest thoughts!

but anyway, anyhow, anywhere, a triple cheerio to the bunch:
long live defiance, long live rock, long live NICP!!!

Robert, my title is not "President", go back a bit and you'll see. Force of habit for some who live with that all thew time.

If you got ragged on for posting about a Squier, I seriously doubt it was one of our regular bunch. I own a VM Jazz and love it. The only Squier bass I wasn't too impressed with was the Affinity, I've played one, so my judgement isn't that sound. I won't make a real call on a bass until I've played a bunch . The CV series is great as well as the VM's.

If anyone rips someone for what they play will hear about it, trust me. No one has any right to tear into someone for what they've decided to play.

Off topic? Not here.

as far as i read you're titled president... but maybe that's not the thing, i'd rather blame that kind of "officialism".
if you would be inthroned as (our) king of the lunatics, ok, but then a kind request at the rank and file would be a better way to substitute the whole procedure.
despite i'm swiss and therefore democrat i'd rather be royalist in case of NICP!
(and if you become king i'd be your fool, my ancestors have been at medieval german king-courts: AND THAT'S NO JOKE!!!)

How about, "Alpha Clown?"

And don't get your panties in a twist about Squier. I gigged with a Squier J for a long time, and my first P was a MIK Squier II. It's the Indian, not the arrow.

By the way, that's a Global J copy behind the P.
