All this clown stuff is starting to get disturbing... :shock:

He'll be O.K. after a hot bath and a cup of cocoa.

another impression and experience on the preci (kinda sound-freaks special):
going down to lowest possible action the bass loses its low mids, a more wiry piano-string sound takes place, bass and treble are more in the foreground and a choral-like overtone-spectrum occurs, very nice, j. e. would have dreamed about... :mrgreen:
it's to notice that the strings are new so perhaps this phenomena is gonna disappear with their aging.
the band has only few rehearsals at the time so it will take a while to find my sound on this one.

Sounds like a good candidate for a nice set of Chromes...

And you'd be able to get the action even lower without any fret buzz.

Fretless works pretty well for that too! :mrgreen:

@sabre, what is chromes?

@pbb, that was just testing out how far i can go with lowering the strings, of course with no buzzing.
due the graphite-bars the neck is very stiff and straight, that gives plenty of headroom to tool around and getting new dimensions of action experiencing... i love that! :mrgreen:
