If I got my hands on a BAII bridge, would the stock mounting screws that hold my current stock bridge in place on my 08 Std P bass be sufficient, or are the screws that come with the BAII bridge a heavier duty set?

I love heavy weights. They're fitting alright, and I haven't fiddled with the setup yet, so I honestly don't know how low I can get em. That extra dollar you spend over the identical Rotosound Jazz set gives you only those specially colored silks in the colors of West Ham. And I'm willing to pay that cuz it's a thoroughly unique set of silks. Plus you can save about 10 bucks getting them at samash.com. I need to get a new set for when I get my hands on that BAII and install it. Don't wanna reinstall used strings. My only beef with them, cuz of the flimsy bridge that comes on the Std P's is that the silk winds way up and actually lets some of the unwrapped end onto the tuner. Heavier bridge will correct that I think.

I'm a Yank, so I only have to deal with ebay and allparts.

Looks like we have another Arry fan on board :) Sabre, I've used .110 on my younger days on the '89, it worked fine. I just decided I like .105 better especially since the band I was in decided to tune 1 step down.

It doesn't help that my posts have no location on 'em. Maybe it was my impeccable spelling. Who cares, no harm done, it's not like you thought I was a martian or something. Anyway, yeah, I am a bit of a Maiden fan. My ultimate goal for my current bass is to make a kind of poor man's Harris bass. Married and with a kid on one income kind of makes the money a bit tight. Also, the personality of a bass I've created will make me quite happy.

I thought the Harris bass had the SPB-1 pick up

His tone from my favorite albums are the most current. And the "classic" Maiden albums (Number of the Beast, Piece of Mind etc) was a Lado bass, and that is just impossible for me at about anytime in the future

It was a custom job from a smaller company, Lado. Google search "Steve Harris Lado Unicorn" to see this little bit of 80's greatness (term used VERY loosely, that and I'm useless with html code and the like). It screams! 80's. The tone is pretty standard Arry, just kinda goofy looking. Other than that it's a bit difficult for me to find anything about it/them. You can watch Run to the hills or the trooper videos (muted of course, as you don't like the air raid siren) to get a glimpse of these bits of 80's gold.

I haven't touched anything since installing them. Probably a bad idea, but I have kept a close eye and nothing seems to far out of goodness.

The first one did, but I think the 2nd edition had an SPB-3....
You better Google it.... You don't want your bass to have the wrong personality!

Just looked at the fender website and it is indeed SPB-1's. SPB-3's are the QP's.
