Hey dudes,

I have a Gotoh bridge that I got years ago with a Modulus Flea bass I bought on Ebay. I have since sold the bass, but I just found all the assorted stuff that came with it. This includes that bridge that was replaced by a Badass II.

So to the point: I am looking for more of a NWOBHM tone, sorta like that of Steve Harris and his contemporaries. I know his Sig. P is equipped with a BAII. Would I get similar performance out of this bridge, should I wait and get a BAII, or would the stock bridge on my Std. P-Bass give me the same performance?

Sorry about the long form, and thanks dudes, you all rock.

I demo'ed 3 bridges on my p-bass,a gotoh,a badass II and the cool brass bridge(w/Fender script) that Fender used on some of the elites and american specials w/active p-ups,and I cant say there really was any real difference other than looks that would justify buying one, even more so now they go for over 100 bucks if you need to have the slots cut(buy a triangle shaped file.and go slow, how bad can you do?).
BTW if you have neckdive add a badass or the brass Fender bridge, they weigh considerably more than the ones Fenderr uses previous to this years high mass up-grade,which may be a good contender.
