I brought up Paul Simonon of the clash but what about The Smiths Andy Rourke? REM's Mike Mills? Both P Bass players. How about Bruce Foxton of the Jam? I know he mostly played Ricks but have seen a few live photos of him with a P Bass. Just wondring if any of you out there like they're contribution to modern music bass. All labeled as alternative bands. Come on now, they're just rock n' roll bands.

Bruce Foxton a big thumbs up, great bass player, he actually is more of P player than the Rics, the rics didn't last as long as most think.
