since weight is a not to underestimate factor in sound but also in comfort i've always been curious about this.
so please let me know the weight of your basses, if possible in kg's (i'm european, you know...)
maybe with a little description of model, woods and other hardware...
thanks for joining! :D

European? NOOOOOOOOOO! At least you're not Canadian. I'm just kidding. Had some great times in Europe, and all the guys I've sailed with that have hit your area of the globe have absolutely loved it. I'll get those numbers as soon as the movers get here with the rest of my shwag.

I could tell by your accent that you are European.

I used to weigh my basses at work all the time when I would get a new one and that was all the time. Both light and heavier basses can sound equally as good as each other. I can handle a bass a little over 9 pounds but anything more than that I shy away from- sorry about the pounds thing I don't have the conversion table for kilos to pounds comparrison.

2.2 lbs per kilo will give you a relatively adequate conversion. Might wanna grab a converter if you're looking to get to ounce/gram accuracy
