i got offered one (don't really know which one) in sunburst and played a little on it, what a stunning sound, full bassy and gnarly mids; amazing!
but the price was quite high (sfr800.- = 1000$) so i left it...

Hey mgoyke,
did you ever have a customer pick guard made? I have a black jr. too and live in Seattle as well. I gnarled up my original guard when I put in some active pups and made a battery compartment. Doesn't look horrible, but I wouldn't mind getting rid of the white gaurd anyways.
