Can i use Ernie Ball Regular Slinkys to replace the stock Fenders on my 53' Sting Sig P bass?
Anybody out there with some advice...would help very much....

Yeah, why not, Go for it. To me, EB slinkys are some good strings. I have used the Regulars, Hybrid and Power slinkys on my basses. I will say that it takes a bit for them to break in and lose the "Zingy-ness". You really can't go wrong with any strings, it sometimes is a pain to find a set/style/sound that you like.

Yes, you can. Actually, I have a 51 P and my back up P (CIJ 62'/57' parts P) for rehearsals has EB RS's on it...I've been diggin' em so much I had thought to get a set for my 51. If you do it, please let me know what you thought. I'd be interested in your opinion on what you can get out of the bass with those strings.

Thanks for the input guys! I've just heard that its hard to find strings that are well suited for my Sting 53 P. The stock ones are NPS roundwound with a tapered E string. Thanks again....
