Down to the wire as far as which way to go, EMG or Seymour Duncan.

All informed opinions welcome.

Neither.

For a P-Bass, the Fender brand "Original '62" is the bomb diggity.

I have to agree with that...

I'm not a big fan of EMG or Duncans tbh.

I'm a big EMG fan (been using their Strat Vintage pickups in my main guitar for almost 10 years now), and I'd still recommend the Original '62 for a P-Bass. TO my ear it's the best sounding, most "authentic" pickup available.

Yeah I'd have EMGs over Duncans any day but meh, I'm too in love with my american Fender pups right now to care for anything else haha :D

For the music I play, I can't complain about my EMGs on mine. I love it.

To all of you who replied to my post about new pickups, thanks! I'm limited to selection in my area as to choices and demos. I will go with Fender, anxious to get it done.

Thanks again,

Ron
