A sad loss, especially to the Fender bass and in particular to us Precision wielders, one of the first and great exponents of Bass guitar playing passed away age 71 today, due to my Dads records collection I heard a lot of shadows stuff Hank was a great player no doubt, but to me Jet was the best, his later stuff with Tony Meehan was superb, Great bass player.

Jet I dare say helped to sell a lot of Fender Precision's due to him using them in the Shadows. God Bless R.I.P

THE ONE THING about Jet I'll always remember and TREASURE was how seamless he was. He was there, but he wasn't. He held down the low end and unless you looked for him, you hardly knew he was there. Yet without him, the whole thing would have fallen apart. Lowkey, but always in the pocket. Jet was often nearly invisible! However that is all truly good bassists should be. BUT you can bet he was what everyone else was keying from, including the vocals.

THANK YOU Jet!
