so not just me then...I used all sorts, Febreeze, some other kind, then some thing else, the smell stays...so I've been shopping the molded case (the one shapped like the guitar) from Fender - used one. It's tough to find one. I have a used one I bought a few yrs a go. I figured if I don't have to buy a new I won't, plus then I can get rid of this playdough case.

I'm talking about the glue in the cheap cases. It smells like rotting horses. You know-- they use horse carcasses and other animal carcasses to make glue. So in China (or where ever * nit picker aleart) they must be doing it at home in a 55 gallon drum. Then take it to work the next day and spread it on .

Remember: animals are more important than people. (sarcasim)

If you ever get a hot, sunny day up there, try leaving it open in the sun.

Seriously, this isn't a joke, I just hope an otter or badger or something makes a nest in it.

I am so hungry that I could eat a 55 gallon drum of animal carcasses.

I love beavers.

That's not crazy. I know you folks in WI like your meat roasted and are big on gravy, that's o.k., some people like theirs other ways. There really isn't a right or wrong.

Glad you have good places with good people to deal with. Not all of us are that fortunate.

isn't gravy a P'burgh thang?? Like fries w/gravy?? 8)

I do like this guy a lot, always taking care of his customer. He took care of me too when he was working at the bigger store that went out of business.

In P'burgh, you an find just about every type of food possible. With the arrival of Mexican, Arabic and countless other people, there are new, really good restaurants and grocery stores everywhere.

As I mentioned earlier, you're a lucky guy. It may be that he saw your Youtube video and is scared to displease you. :)

UMMMMMM Barbecue!

Oh about the guitar case. The airing out helps. Also this can't make it worse! Take a tin can, put some STRAW (like barn straw) in it. Light the straw and blow on it to make some smoke. Here in the Carolinas we have lots of skunks. It does wonders for skunk odor. If you have ever hit a skunk with your car, or had one get under your house to spend the night...burning straw in a metal can does WONDERS.
