Here's my suggestions:

Pittsburgh Steeler model

Black with Maple neck, FLAT wound strings, poor tuners and a bunch of dead spots on the neck.

Green Bay Packer model

Green with maple neck, Special Badass bridge, comes ready out of the box and delivers.

Hey Rez,

Not at all, the Packers did just what they needed toddo and the Steelers fell FLAT. I knew when the Packers went to Atlanta, it would be a test, I never thought they'd blow them away. Super Bowl was pretty even going in Packers did it right, they're a great team.

I live 28 miles away from Pittsburgh, it's real sad for a lot of people here. They act like there was a death in the family.

I worked 4-12 on Sunday so I didn't watch the game, listening was hard enough.

I'm tired of hearing about it now, baseball season around here is very quiet, Malkin and Crosby are hurt and we have the Pirates. A good season is winning over 50 games.

Yeah, I've not been in for work since Saturday, so the people I work with in Coraopolis are going to be a bear to deal with. Like I said in a different forum, it'll be tough either way for me, living here in GB and being a Steelers fan. You're right Ox, the best team won, great game either way. One of the best Superbowl games in a long while.

Here's a design concept for this Limited Superbowl Commemorative. Two versions. The MIM Standard and USA Deluxe.

Both versions have these common features:
1. Script the unforgettable newly revised lyrics to the National Anthem unveiled by Christina Aguilera on the back of the body.
2. Script the correct lyrics on the front. The ones on the front should be in large enough type that she can actually READ them.
3. Of course this Commerative's body would have to be made out of exotic Cuban blond bimbo wood.
4. A new special design "EZ Pickup" set.
5. Tuners that, when you least expect it, forget to hold their tuning.
6. A Leo Quan BAII bridge because you need a lot of sustain when you want to extend any note endlessly for no perceptible reason whatsoever.
7. A thumbrest for the obvious reason.

The USA DELUXE version has all the above features, PLUS adds the following features to commemorate the Black Eyed Peas/Slash half-time show:
1. Translucent white pickguard and translucent white rectangular block neck inlays with color changing LED lights visible through the translucent material on the neck and body. The lighting system is equipped with a "Boredom Sensor" that automatically activates the lights just a split second before the audience gets bored.
2. A built in MP3 player with pre-loaded tracks so you don't even need a real band to play with.

As I mentioned earlier, I didn't get to see it. From your description Dave, I feel like I was there.

Zod, we need a picture!

That was more about Christina Aguilera than Quan. I have nothing against Quan (other than their customer service is the worst on the planet.) Quan didn't blow the lyrics to the national anthem, which is what that post was about. It was about how that singer started showboating AFTER she blew the lyrics trying to make up for the botch. My point was that if you were playing with her then you'd need a high mass bridge of some sort to get the sustain she got and Quan's is a popular, if overpriced, high mass bridge. I'm not implying that Leo Quan caused the Steelers to lose, or anything like that. I did think Slash was pretty on the money. I do know if Fergie rubbed up against me like that I'm miss a note or two. LMAO.

Quan having the worst customer service in the music supply business has nothing to do with the Superbowl post I made. But since you brought it up. Yeah. I won't buy any more Quan stuff. If you need a part you are just out of luck. I wouldn't call it a grudge. I'd say it is more like a lesson learned.

O.K., now we're getting way off topic. I feel I have to defend poor little Christina because she came from the town I presently live in. Bless her little heart she tried!

That was all BS, she was remarkable at one time, then she quickly became something i can't describe. Pity, she does hvne the pipes.
