I did have an all black pg(no b/w/b) on there after that one. New computer, lost all my old photos.

I picked up a Roger Waters P Bass today. I'll post photos as soon as I stop playing it.

I have been looking at them myself. I watched some demo YouTube clips and love the sound. I have searched forums for feedback from people that own one and not coming up with anything useful. When you have the chance, let us know what you think!

Thanks for the update. If you don't mind me asking, where did you get it from? The few sound clips that I have heard so far, I love the "growl," looks and making me want one so much more!

I am seriously thinking of grabbing one. Does it feel a little more solid than a standard MIM? I like the vintage styling. The only thing I never cared for was someones signature on my bass, but not that big a deal i guess.

It's not about then, it's about now. I bought a used Precision in 1975, black, black pickguard and a maple neck, had it for a couple years and sold it to the bass player from the Jaggerz. Their hit was , "The Rapper". For those of you who may not remember, it was one of the very few hit songs to come out of western Pennsylvania.

I have a few more sad, sad stories of basses and guitars that I once had, wish I had them all back.

The black P-Bass in its original form came with a 3-ply white pickguard, a thumbrest, an original 1970s CBS decal and chrome ashtray covers.

It is a beautiful bass, mine had the covers. I've always liked them and have them on both my Precision and Jazz. Just a personal thing.

How about smash "The Pennsylvania Polka" record? That was a huge hit! Wait....that came out of EASTERN Pennsylvania. Sorry, my bad.

And yes I remember that song. "Rap uh Rap uh Rap, they call him the rapper....Rap uh Rap uh Rap, you know what he's after...Why don't you come up to my place for some coffee or tea....or meeeee" (with some serious tape echo on the "ME.") My very FIRST band played that while it was on the charts while wearing silly Nehru collared shirts and jackets with even sillier stripped pants and ridiculously tall stacked platform shoes. Jeeze, I'm old. Seriously OLD.
