Have any of you passed up the Entwistle Book "BASS CULTURE" because of the price? Fear not it is worth every penny. Some great Fender basses inside including his 1966 slab body P. Alos has alot of Fender guitars & other brand basses & guitars. I obtained a very nice first edition with dust jacket. It was pricey but it is an elegant "Coffee Table" book. He has a amazing collection.

Of course it's not worth full price, unless he was your major influence as he was mine. I have it and thoroughly enjoy it. It doesn't have all of his basses in it but, enough to be satisfied , I guess.

I just went to Amazon to see prices, OMG! Mine was only $24 or so a few years ago, I think it's out of print. Why in the hell is it so expensive? Even on E-Bay.

Check out used book stores, the ones by me in Pittsburgh always have them,
maybe you'll get lucky and get one cheap. I'm going out to them and see if they have any.

The Entwistle book is expensive because it is out of print & a well made hardcover. I have collected books to some extent in the past & some books can command THOUSANDS of dollors. I paid just under $100 for my copy which is brnad new. I see many over $100 that are listed as acceptable. Being that John Entwistle is a major influence for me I had to have it

For a true fan, it is a must. I was floored when I saw the recent prices. As I said earlier, mine was a lot less. I'm surprised there weren't more replies, there have to be a lot of people who own it.

Did you get his Master Class Dvd too? That was part of my present the same Christmas.
