I had pics sent to me today of an all original 3tone sunburst 1966 precision, with the usual wear and tear in fair shape eveything original incl. ohsc they want $4200.00 sure is tempting been in storage for ages wow

The serial number puts it at 1966-67 but it does not have blocks and binding

a Precision bass should'nt have blocks and binding. Are you talking about getting a Jazz Bass?

that seems a bit pricey to me. It would have to be in excellent shape or I would have to be head over heels in love with that particular bass for me to spend that much on it. im no expert... i think 3500 would be a fair price and even less if the condition is just 'fair'

I just got a 57 AVRI prec. in Oct. and a 50th anniv. jazz last week so i,m scared to go and look at that you know what i mean GAS attack
