Since 1953 to the present, the Precision Bass is featured with a contoured body. Slab P-Basses were much common in 1951 and 1952!

You might want to rephrase that. I and other Fender fans know what you mean, but others who don't know about MIM Fenders maybe not so much ... "Civilians" might think you were being racist. (I'm only being half serious here  )

Now you've got everyone thinking, lol. People always try to read things into a statement.

Didn't mean to imply anyone was or would be offended, I was kinda just joking.

Pretty bad on a Forum like this we have to be sooooooo careful in choosing our words considering the people who appreciate the posts get exactly what we're saying.

Here it is everybody,

IF YOU GET UPSET OR OFFENDED BY THE POSTS ON THESE FORUMS, IT'S PROBABLY YOUR OWN PERSONAL STUFF. GET A LIFE, GO WATCH T.V. OR WHATEVER MAKES YOU HAPPY'.

O.K.?

However cool the bass looks Entwistle supposedly used them because of the pickups or wiring. The supposedly got slight distortion when the volume on the bass was cranked up full.

He had a unique talent and knew what he wanted. While he may have never found exactly what he was looking for, give him extra points for trying.

IMO, Frankenstein was the bass that really was his sound.

The bass looks fantastic. What gets me is the production of this bass costs no more to make than a reissue. You're paying an extra $1,200 for corners.

Here is a pic of it. Not much to say really. I bought it new way back and used for many years day in and day out playing mainly 1960s, 70s 80s pop and rock n roll. It's a great bass, love it and still use it from time to time.
