Hi ! I would like to know what mean the numbers on the neck of my precision bass near the trussrod : 0101 2113 there is also a name : DAVID P

Your neck numbers are: 0101 2113

The 8 digit neck codes used from 1972 until the end of the 1980 model year on June 30, 1981 would decode this neck code thusly:
01 = Precision Bass
the next 01 = ROSEWOOD
21 = the 21st week of the year
1 = 1981
3 = WEDNESDAY!

Therefore your bass neck was stamped as completed on: MAY 20, 1981.

The serial number should be on the headstock decal.

It should start E0 or E1. Probably E1. So it should be like E1xxxxx.

Am I right or not?
