Outside of having one made from scratch, are any Chrome Bridge Covers for 5 string basses (P-bass or Jazz) sold anywhere? Also, does anyone know if anyone sells the 5 string p-bass pickguards? I know that we can trace it out and have any number of makers make one, but I'm interested in the tortoise shell one that comes with other Fender 5 string p-bass models (but the Fender website doesn't sell them independently).

I've seen Fender 5 string pickup covers, but not the bridge covers. The bridge covers are standard on the Marcus Miller Jazz V bass which does not use a bridge cover.

Rondo Music sells a pickup and bridge cover combo they say will fit 5 string Jazzes for the SX line. Check the dimensions to see if that might work.

The pickguard you seek is possibly something like Fender Part Number 0058769020. I say possibly because there is no parts list online for the exact model that is out right now. The pickguard with that number was for the amber DELUXE V model and it might not work due the larger control plate. 0058769020 is described as brown shell guard. You could contact Fender Customer Service and request a PDF of the parts list for the current model you want the pickguard for. Then contact your local Fender dealer and ask them to order one for you. You will probably have to pre-pay. If your local dealer is not helpful, phone David Goldenfarb at THE BASS PLACE in Tempe, Arizona (480)423-1161 or email him at dave@thebassplace.com, he might actually have one or will try to order one for you. Fender part 0058769020 looks like this:

Custom made guards are expensive and never look exactly like the original material. That would be sort of a last resort.
