I've waited for a month for a new genuine Fender black scratch plate I bought for my new 'P' from an ebay retailer and it arrived today.

There's a big 'chip' out of it at the bridge end.

Does anyone know if I can get one direct from Fender please and if so, how?

I tried to get 2 black knobs direct a few weeks ago and they were no help at all.

Thanks guys.

There are a lot of online places but if you want to order from Fender here,

Thanks for the link fhopkins.

I'm struggling to find the 3-ply one I need for my MIA 2010 'P' though.

Don't suppose you have any idea? They all seem to be specific vintage ones.

I don't think Fender sells direct to consumers except in the accessories like T-shirts, etc. Your nearest Fender dealer should be able to order whatever you want that is currently available. If you want one that is out of production you may have to go the reproduction route, which means usually a custom job. See the parts page of my site and scroll to the pickguard category where custom pickguard makers are listed. http://brotherdave.com/add_parts.htm

If your local dealer won't order for you try another nearby one.
