One of my favorite ways to spruce up a two or three tone sunburst without changing the attitude of the look, is to use mint green. It softens the harshness of the white, and while it may sound kinda wierd, wait till you see it in person. Black multiply guards give it a classy look as well, and allows the ambers of the finish to really pop. I'd go mint green though.... and you should see mint green with blonde!

The worst color pickguard ive ever seen on a burst body is someone actually put a paisley guard on one... a pink one. Such infractions should be punishable by throwing said instrument AND the owner into the face of the sun. Bring your SPF 50.

First off, http://www.fender.com/community/forums/ ... ht=#471958 :?:

IMO 3-Tone Sunburst looks great with tort or black pickguards. Take a look through here for a collection of Highway One's and 1's.
