Guy Pratt is famous for owning a Burgundy Mist Jazz Bass nicknamed "Betsy". He used this bass extensively during the Momentary Lapse of Reason tours of 1987-1990. However, since the Division Bell tours in 1994/95 and the Pulse concerts of that period, he started using a sunburst 1958 Precision Bass with a maple neck, an ashtray bridge cover and a gold anodized pickguard.

A shot found on the booklet accompanying the Pulse CD shows him using the '58 P with a thumbrest, however, on the DVD and the VHS versions, I've noticed the bass having apparently the tug bar removed.

Guy's current bass is a 1961 Precision with a tortoise guard and a rosewood neck.

I posted this thread because I'm certain that Fender could make an exact replica of Guy's '58 Precision and '63 "Betsy" Jazz.
