Eh, more punch is all set up from the bass, you actually get a rounder, punchier sound with fingers...it all comes down to amp set up and tone set up on the bass too tho.

I use my fingers, well to fingers to be right
i'm pretty fast with them.
I never learned how to play with a pick :P
maybe i should try one time :P
but just choose what you like more not what others use.
Music is about creating your own sound i think.

Well,

I started using my fingers only; however I have been practicing with a pick latley and I seem to be able to play a little faster with pick which kinda surprises me. I think I will keep practicing both as I play both equally poorly right now!

Actually it depends...
I use both pick and finger..

3.00 mm Jim Dunlp pick or two - four fingers (Yes it works using you little finger to;) it just a thing you have to get used to )

I think the low-slung bass pickers look cool. But for me it's fingers.

I'm mainly a finger player. I like to think of nothing between the bass and me. Most of my infuences use their fingers. However, If I my fingers are sore, which happens if I play to hard, I've been known to use a pick. , As a previous poster wrote, whichever way works to get your sound.

i say that it depends on what you like. And if you get insulted by playing with a pick just say why you play with one, like its more confortable or something. it is more confortable for me. Yes i play with a pick...and fingers, but i like pick more. and some people say that the style of music can determan pick or fingers.............i say that play how you want in whatever style of music. :D
