Just saw one in Olympic White, beautiful bass. I always wanted a passive P Bass deluxe type set up with passise Jazz and P Bass Pick ups. Don't like active basses. Plus it is almost a ringer for my Olympic White American Jazz Bass with Maple Fingerboard. Only difference is the pick guard, tourtiseshell on the Jazz, Black on the Franklin P, looks very cool. Do I need this bass? Probably not, do I want it? Hell yes. Anyone know anything about them? :?:

I would like to know too. I wanted the one with the golden amber (natural) finish, but couldn't find one online for sale. Ended up with a new Jazz, no sweat, but I still wanted that TF bass. Now that I don't have the money anymore, I found it on a couple of websites. Go figure.

I have a Jazz too and I totally love it. American Standard, 2008 Olympic White, maple fingerboard what a beautiful bass. I was looking for a P Bass to match it, same color, fingerboard etc. I don't like active basses so I don't want to go for a P Bass deluxe, I want a bass that I could get a P bass sound and still have the 2nd Pick up to round things out.

This looks perfect. just wondering how they sound because I believe they're not standard issue J or P bass pick ups. also wondering if like the deluxe it has a J bass neck which I would prefer.
