i am going to buy a fender precision bass guitar...today i saw it..It is a Aged Cherry sunburst coloured bass...on its head it is written that "Fender Precision Bass Made In USA"

And no serial no is written in the entire guitar.....guys is that fake or original??

It could be original and the number is stamped on the heel of the neck. That will tell you the date also if it's there.

I'm not an expert, by the typeface on "Precision Bass" on the decal looks wrong to me.... wrong font, weird kerning.

I think. Better ask an expert, but that bass looks bad to me.

No, it means the end that is connected to the body. The neck will have to be removed to see if the number is there.

Never seen a p bass in that finish before (though obviously that by no means makes it a fake) but I think the decal on the headstock just looks placed wrong. Like has been said before me, take the neck off and see if theres anything on the heel of the neck or in the neck pocket on the body (the cavity in which the neck sits).

That sunburst color is from the late seventies - early eighties. It should have a serial number on the headstock. Maybe a replacement neck and bogus decal?
