I've been thinking about getting one... I've got a Geddy Lee signature jazz now, but it's not really my style... and P basses are so much cooler 8)

The Pre-upgrades HWY1 was cooler. No GRN. Although the TV logo, and BAII is kinda sweet.

The New Fender Highway One basses are wonderful. They aim for great sound without the frills and a higher price.

Nitro finish on an bass for under grand. Badass bridge and cool vintage colors. Great choice. :!: :)

Yeah, I love the badass bridges, and I found a place that's selling the basses in the limited edition white blonde color... hope they don't sell out before I can place an order

I have played one at a local guitar center, and it was pretty nice. I would not mind having one myself, and I do agree that those nitro finishes look really cool.

I have a Highway One P Bass® in Daphne Blue and think it's KILLER! I've loaned it out to a lot of folks and everyone I've loaned it to came back with the same response ... "I LOVE this bass!"

I just bought a 2004 Daphne Blue precision she was hanging on the wall of a local music store for 4 years and finally I got it for 30% cheaper ... I´m soo happy with it :D :D I already changed the pickguard to white pearl added seymour duncan SPB-3s , Ernie Ball Hybrid Slinkys and gonna add a BaddAss 2 bridge. Its such a Sweet bass I have it for a week now and I didn´t played my other 2 basses yet my (Squier P and my olympic white ´62 US Vintage Precision  ) :) I think that theese new Upgraded Hw1 Precisions are pretty cool too but I don´t really like the black 70´s logo on them. (just my opinion) but the stock badasses on them are Killer! :)

I compared this bass with an america version, MIM, and the highway one. There seems to be to me at least no differents in sound. I like the fact that the highways have a bad $@! bridge but the satin finish turned me away. I quess I like shiney bass instead of dull ones

I have had mine for about two months now and I love it more and more each day. Mine is the upgraded Highway One P-bass in Honey Blonde. I put flats on there, a tort pickguard, and swapped out the barrel knobs for some dome control knobs(personal preference). The greasebucket tone circuit (Rolls Off Highs without Adding Bass) is cool. I've been thinking about getting the matching Jazz to go with it, but I doubt that I will be able to get another great deal like I got on the P. I am very happy with my Hwy One bass.

On monday I will be in the music store, where I am buyng a new Fender American Precission Bass, and I belive they have got highway one also, so I will try to compare them - I hope I will find the difference 'couse there's a difference in the prices :D ;)

But, few months ago I have been playng the Highway One, and it was not the best one I've had.

Good for the price, but can't take the place of american standarts.
