Good question.

There's guys who can play circles around Steve, but for my money, he nails that bass with nothing but class, style, and finesse.

By far, my all time favorite bassist.

I agree. Mr. Harris is one of my favorites. I'm also a huge fan of his music and playing style.

Really? Play "circles" around Steve? I agree there are guys who can slap etc. better than Steve, but his galloping thing literally plays circles around most anybody out there!

Even though I'm not a big Maiden fan, I'm glad I got to see them in their heyday in the '80s, giant Eddie monster and all! Steve was awesome.

i like steve's playing when it comes to metal.. well he was the one who convinced me or to make me like metal... :lol:

Yeah, saw them several times in the 80's too. I remember seeing them in 1988, Providence, RI and for whatever reason, he stopped using that awesome blue metallic bass and came out for an encore or two with, either a red P Bass or a green one.
