One of my favorite.... there is one (2 tone sunbrst) at my local GC that I can never put down. I own a new Am Standard and love it... but this bass just feels better. The feel, playability, and tone is great (good job at providing that broken in feel).

I have one and love it. It gets gigged regularly. The only mod I did to it was to put in a Seymour Duncan vintage pickup, but that's just me. With flatwounds, it really captures that '60s Duck Dunn vibe.

The neck is quite large and round, make sure you try it. The neck is also very straight on mine, and it has very low action. There's a certain mojo to it that I just love. I have a few Fender basses in my house, and I think this is one of their better products in some time. Very light weight body and easily the best neck I've ever felt on a Fender bass.

I think they are a great platform for modding, if you get one, search for BrotherDave's posts on doing some real cheap mods on the electronics to make it thump like a vintage beast.
