Actually in keeping with 'arrie's favourite football team (West Ham) colours, the pickguard is claret.

I forget but I think the p/u is a SD QuarterPounder BassLine (??).

Hey thanks!

IIRC it was like $599 or something. Oh my I can't remember when I bought it, it was a couple years ago ('01-'02 maybe???). I'm pretty sure I bought it from Musician's Friend and I almost bought a Dave Murray Strat to go with it. I didn't have enough dough and I'm more of a bass player anyway so the Steve Harris P-Bass it was. Been a long time Maiden fan, and especially of Mr. Harris!

dude im soo jealous u got one, i would totaly buy tht for £600 off ya and in dollars thats basically double u paid for it lol u no u wanna do it LOL.

They're out there, just keep looking.

Hey, if I were to sell it, I'd have to add a couple $$ as it has a fresh set of Rotosound SH77s:

Besides, you all think your hard done to?!?!

I live in (ripp off) UK where your RRP, is the same over here dispite at times the £ is worth almost double the $ and even then, shops still might add on a bit extra dough with it being rare and a signature item... consider yourselves lucky :P

The Steve Harris P-Bass was only available in Lake Placid Blue with the Claret pickguard.

Any color differences are due to my camera, even the p/g looks black but it is Claret red (mirror).

I just read the full list for fenders 2009 models and the steve harris bass is confirmed.

I am very happy right now.
