What size allen wrench do I need to adjust the intonation on my '08 American Standard P? I can't seem to find the correct one in my SAE or metric sets. :?:

I don't know the correct size, but the bass should have come with the correct hex wrench. My 08 am. std. came with it.

Well, that's great for you but mine didn't.
It has the same case candy as my '05 Am. Jazz; truss rod tool and saddle height allen wrench are the only tools. Maybe it got the wrong kit in CA, there are no other wrenches listed on the enclosed parts list either.
If someone has some useful info (like the actual size), it would be very much appreciated!

Well, it should have come with the wrench.

Reguardless, I measured out the wrench in my set and it seems to be just shy of 1/8", and is about 3/32." I'm not sure if that is the exact measurement, but it's pretty darn close.

This is a question you should direct to Fender Consumer Relations. They will get the information for you as it is on a spec sheet for the bridge and they might can pull it right up for you.

This is an enthusiast forum. Forum members who actually happen to have this bridge on a bass and have the wrench can not tell you the size by looking at it. They could guess and guess wrong. I've had that happen in a forum before and I went on a wild goose chase for a wrench that didn't work the application I had described.

Mailing address:
Fender Musical Instruments Corporation

Telephone: (480) 596-7195

E-mail: consumerrelations@fender.com

I'm sure they'll have that information.

According to specs I found online, I believe it is a "WRENCH HEX KEY 1/16” SHORT ARM" for saddles.
